Kaplan Academy of California – Los Angeles offers a tuition-free and local alternative to traditional high school education for students in grades 6-12 who are 18 or under and are living in the following counties:
  • Los Angeles
  • San Bernardino
  • Ventura
  • Kern
  • Orange

Earn a diploma, not a GED

Students will receive diplomas issued by the Kaplan Academy of California – Los Angeles. California Virtual Education Partners has partnered with Kaplan Virtual Education to create Kaplan Academy of California – Los Angeles.

Use a Kaplan Academy-Provided Computer

Students may be eligible for a loaned computer to complete coursework and assignments.*

*Full-time students in Kaplan Academy of California can receive a computer to use for as long as they are enrolled in KAC. Families with more than one student enrolled in the program will receive one computer. Families are required to provide internet access in their homes. While high-speed connections are preferred, courses will run on dial-up connections. Internet stipend checks will be sent during the school year.
