Debunk the myths of online education.

We'll help you separate fact from fiction.

Myth: Online schools can't compete with traditional education.
Reality: Online schools are just as good as traditional schools. Our students can receive more support from their teachers and academic coach than in most traditional schools. Online institutions also tend to offer more course options. See our course catalog.

Myth: Online courses lack interaction.
Reality: An online education provides students primarily with one-on-one interaction. Unless a teacher sets up a discussion session with multiple students, all communication is one-on-one through email, instant messaging, virtual whiteboards, and phone communications.

Myth: Online courses are less challenging than traditional classes.
Reality: Online courses are every bit as rigorous as those in traditional schools. All courses offered are at or above grade-level requirements and meet all state and federal certifications. Students also learn valuable discipline and time management skills that are useful in a college setting.

Myth: Students are more likely to cheat online.
Reality: It's no easier to cheat online than in a traditional classroom. All tests and assignments require critical thinking skills, keeping academic misconduct at a minimum. Plus, there are tools that our teachers use to monitor plagiarism and manage test taking.

Myth: Students don't get enough interaction with other students.
Reality: Because online school is flexible, students have time to get involved with extracurricular activities including sports, church, work, or volunteering. Students can also get involved with school organizations and other students. See what organization opportunities are available.
