Open a virtual school in weeks, not years
Building a school has never been so easy. Kaplan provides the turnkey technology, curriculum, instruction, and operational support that allows you to "turn on" a new program in your district in weeks, not years. Your new virtual school can add instant capacity to your district through a cutting-edge, online instructional system that links state-certified teachers with students on a one-to-one basis.
Additionally, your District-Label Virtual School can offer a complete comprehensive curriculum for grades 6–12, including core, Honors, and Advanced Placement courses in more than 120 subject areas. Most importantly, this is your school. Parents, students, and the community will see your district's logo, school name, and course offerings.

Your Students, Our Support
We are committed to providing a high quality curriculum in a supportive environment – one that offers more choices and caters to your students' needs. Our staff of dedicated teachers and academic coaches makes sure your students have the tools and support they require. And we promote teacher-student and school-parent interaction through our call-in support center available whenever students or parents have questions or concerns.
To accomplish our goal of delivering quality instruction in a technologically rich and supportive environment, Kaplan Virtual Education utilizes a team-layered instructional approach with a highly effective faculty/student ratio. The Instructional Support Team is staffed by certified online teachers who provide one-on-one academic assistance and support for students. In addition to phone and email, a virtual whiteboard allows the teacher and students to engage in a synchronous explanation of the concept or problem.
Each student receives individualized academic support from an academic team including:
- State-Certified Instructional Team Leader – Similar to Department Head
- State-Certified Instructor – As required by the State and District
- State-Certified Part-Time Instructor/Teaching Assistant (TA) – Similar to the college model for TAs
- State-Certified Academic Coach – Manages student academic, personal, and social needs
Kaplan Virtual Education is accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). Courses are taught by state-certified teachers and are aligned with state standards.
